Ahobilam is a divya narasimha-kshetra. It is the place where Lord Narasimha appeared out of a pillar and saved His devotee Prahlada. This place is also famous as the land of Nava Narasimha due to the nine cave temples of Lord Narasimha situated here. Ahobilam is situated in the Nallamalla forest amidst the lush green valleys, scintillating waterfalls and the meandering curves of the Bhavanashini River. Untouched by the modern development, this is a perfect place for anyone to experience divinity in the lap of nature. Ahobilam is also one among the 108 divya deshams – Srivaishnava temples.

At our current age 72 and 69, we made the right decision to book Ahobilam Tour with Thirtha Yatra. Very well planned- excellent AC coach, good timing to cover all 9 temples, very well briefed about each temple (including the Puranic story and significance) by the Guide Mr. Hari Krishna, our Guide, is a good Host, very caring and always present on the Scene ahead of all the Yatri’s, very helpful during our difficult trekking in difficult terrains. At the end of the journey, he gave an interesting Quiz covering all that was explained by him in the 2 days. We wish we have him in all our tours. We will recommend Thirtha Yatra to all our friends and relatives for all the pilgrims they are planning or dreaming to go.

This is our First Yatra with Tirtha Yatra. Very nice management of the two days tour with lots of guidance from our Tour guide Sri Harikrishna. He explained the significance, Sthala purana and details of the temples before visiting the temples. That helped us a lot in connecting while visiting the temple and having the darshan of the Idols. The trip was neatly planned from the beginning. Preparation call was much useful to ask and clear the doubts. The attractive point was it was a limited group. The tour director Ashokji was very friendly and extended all his support. He was very passionate about his profession and this was very evident as he was with the same energy from the beginning till the end of the tour. Also the new assistant Jeevan too ably provided the support. It was our first experience with Tirtha yatra and we were happy with the decision.
