Aug 10, 2022: Sri Agrani Krishna Dasa, Founder-Managing Director of Tirtha Yatra presenting the Ramayana Circuit at Ministry of Tourism, Government of India Roadshow in Bengaluru.
Ministry of Tourism under Government of India organized a Roadshow event in Bengaluru on August 10, 2022 to promote East Indian States primarly focusing on Bihar and Jharkhand. Stake holders from all over Karnataka, Bihar and Jharkhand got together to explore the opportunities of tourism in East India and Karnataka.
Tirtha Yatra represented by Sri Agrani Krishna Dasa, Founder-Managing Director, was invited to present Sri Ramayana Circuit and Krishna Circuit in Bihar amidst the digintaries such as the Regional Director of South India Tourism under Ministry of Tourism, The Tourism Head of Bihar Tourism and the Chapter of Heads of South Indian Tourism and Uttar Pradesh Tourism respectively.
Sri Agrani Krishna Dasa presented a detailed yet brief outline of Ramayana Circuit, Krishna Circuit and Temple Tourism in the Indian State of Bihar. He spoke in detail about the various beautiful places in Bihar which are yet unknown and connected to the glorious Ramayana. Some of the places include Vaishali, Rajgir, Buxar, Punaura Dham, etc.
He also spoke that the holy sites must be shown in detail to some extent as recommended by the Shastras. The ideology must be to stay for atleast 1 – 2 nights in kshetras such as Gaya, Kashi and Ayodhya. Pilgrimage is not just tourism but an opportunity to internalize the crux of Indian Culture and heritage. It makes us a true Indian and is a unique experience in itself.
He vitalized that pilgrimage is an integral part of Indian Culture and must be preferred for quick development. He appealed to the government of Bihar to take up initiatives in cleaning the pilgrimage sites in Bihar and erecting toilets in designated sites. He also requested to develop the road infrastructure to enhance connectivity.
His views were well received and appreciated by the stake holders and the audiences.

Very appropriate. Our holy places should not be seen as tourist spots, more fully should be developed as Spiritual and Cultural Heritage

All our holy places need to be developed on the lines of Tirumala. There should be no dearth of accommodation and basic amenities. Only then temple tourism will develop.

Congratulations to Agrini krishnadas on showcasing tremendous tourism potential through Ramayana circuit and other unexplored circuits in and around Bihar. We deem ourselves lucky to tour with him in Chardham, Ahobilam, Jagannath circuits. His profound knowledge about diversified places of visit are well brought out through pastime discussions with yatris. His concerns about welfare of yatris are highly appreciable. He will immediately address any problems of yatri allround the clock. I am eagerly looking forward for more yatras in future. Wishing Agrini Krishnadas all best in future endeavours.. K Narasimhan,

Sir congratulations to you for the presentation made with our religious and cultural sites. Let us hope our governments make note of it and popularise the tours with subsidy from their side.
