Yatris joining Tirtha Yatras are recommended to get familiar with these terms and conditions before they make the booking with Tirtha Yatra.
Eligibility Criteria
Yatris equalling 70 years of age and above will not be allowed in the Yatras. For them special yatras shall be conducted. In case they are healthy and hale, they can join the regular Yatras by producing a medical fitness certificate.
Yatris above the age of 65 years must produce a medical fitness certificate to join the Yatras like Char Dham Yatra, Muktinath Yatra, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and other such yatras in the mountainous regions.
Children below the age of 8 years shall not be allowed in the Yatras.
Terms and Conditions
I hereby declare that I have read, understood and agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions of Tirtha Yatra:
That, I express complete comprehension in the activities programmed and the objective risks that implicate my participation in the yatra(s), organised by Tirtha Yatra, which conducts its pilgrimage yatras to the holy places situated in the Himalayas or such Mountainous Regions like Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Satopanth-Swargarohini, Muktinath, Kailash-Mansarovar and such holy places to help yatris have darshan.
That, Some of these above-mentioned temples are situated in the remote and less developed regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical supplies and apt faculties and facilities. In the event of accident, illness or injury an evacuation will be slow and uncertain, as these yatras take place in mountains, high altitudes, or other hazardous terrains.
That, Common and uncommon symptoms of altitude include, but are not limited to: sleeplessness, coughing, loss of appetite, vomiting, muscle cramps, fever, etc. Severe case of altitude sickness can also include pulmonary and / or cerebral or gastrointestinal related disorders. Therefore, I find myself physically and medically suitable for such yatras, and shall take due care of my medication personally during the yatra.
That, I understand that the Char Dham Yatra / Pancha Badrinath Yatra / Muktinath Yatra / Kailash Mansarovar Yatra / Satopanth Yatra / Pancha Kedar Yatra / Gaumukh Yatra or any such Yatra in the Himalayan or the Mountainous Region has its share of risks and dangers in respect to the terrains, weather, high altitude and the desolate nature of the destination.
That, Tirtha Yatra act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.
That, All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail.
That, Tirtha Yatra reserves the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well-being.
Tirtha Yatra rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
That, Tirtha Yatra shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, temple closures or any untoward incidents.
That, Tirtha Yatra shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
That, Tirtha Yatra do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, death, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements, in their home country, on their own. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
That, Tirtha Yatra shall not be entitled to refund any Yatra Amount in case of ‘NO SHOW’ on the day of the tour.
That, I hereby declare that my participation in this is completely as per my will, and I am fully aware of the risks involved. I will not hold ‘Tirtha Yatra’ wholly or partly responsible in case any accidents, illness or death during the Yatra.
That, I also declare to understand and voluntarily accept the Cancellation Policy of Tirtha Yatra.
That, I agree to follow strictly to the programme and abide by rules of the Tirtha Yatra or their authorities at all times during the programme.
That, I certify that all the entries are correct. I agree to detail myself for the programme/ Yatra conducted by Tirtha Yatra Bengaluru (Karnataka) at my own risk and no compensation will be paid to me, or my dependants in case of any accident, illness, injury, mishappening or death and I will not hold the organization, its staff or its agents wholly or partially, responsible for the same.
That my son/daughter/ward/ is joining the programme/ yatra with my consent and the Tirtha Yatra Bengaluru (Karnataka) SHALL NOT be held responsible wholly or partly in case of death, any illness, injury or accident. It is also certified that he/ she is physically fit. I, on behalf of my son/daughter/ward agree to abide by the rules regulations laid down by the Tirtha Yatra Banglore (Karnataka).
LAW & JURISDICTION
I do acknowledge that If any dispute or difference(s) of any kind whatsoever shall arise between the parties hereto in connection with or arising out of this agreement the parties hereto shall in good faith negotiate with a view to arriving at an amicable resolution and settlement. Any/all legal proceedings with regard to any matter, claim, differences and disputes arising out of this agreement, will be governed by the Indian laws and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim/ dispute out of it.
By filling the Yatra Reservation Form, I hereby acknowledge that I have read, understand and agree to the terms of this document relating to My Yatra/Tour Package.
Tirtha Yatra means sadhu-sanga, hari-katha, vigraha-aradhana, dhama-seva, prasada-sevana, dana-kriya and bhajana. One has to take association of devotees, hear the lilas of Hari, worship the Deity, serve the Lord in the holy place, partake prasadam, give in charity and perform bhajans. The purpose of Tirtha Yatra is to reconnect ourselves with God.
