Tirtha Yatra conducted its maiden Char Dham Yatra from Oct 01 to Oct 12. This yatra was attended by 60 yatris from Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. A unique spiritual experience was threaded by our expert team to provide a memorable spiritual retreat to the yatris. This yatra focussed more on providing an authentic information about the sthala purana of the temples visited in order to connect yatris to the temple and its ancient history. The yatra was very spiritually rejuvenating due to the additions of bhajans, kirtanas and Vedic games. Below is a small piece of appreciation from T S Srinivasan who participated in the yatra. Tirtha Yatra’s Char Dham itinerary has covered all the important temples like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri and many other smaller temples. In every temple we were guided by the Yatra Director giving the introduction of Deities in the sanctum with minute details – the history, sthala purana and the benefits of darshan one derives in that temple. The Yatra Director had showered us with such a wonderful treat of information that all the yatris were overwhelmed with deep emotions of devotion.
At the end of the completion of a day’s itinerary, once we settle down at our hotel rooms, before dinner, all of us participated in group bhajans of nama-sankirtana lead by the Yatra Director. After bhajans, a more detailed briefing about the day’s darshan was imparted. At the end, the next day’s itinerary was discussed and the schedule was also informed. This process and practice of conducting the yatra was repeated with systematic character throughout the twelve day yatra. The Yatra was a great source of immense satisfaction, happiness in the heart and a great treat of spirituality.
Next day, the Yatra Director maintained the strict schedule of Yatra programme as discussed the previous night. This provided us with an ample opportunity to cover maximum number of temples. We had adequate time in every temple to enjoy a good darshan. The Char Dham Yatra was conducted with best possible comfort level by Tirtha Yatra.
The buses were neat and good and the bus crew was very kind. We were guided and helped to settle down every time by the group coordinators throughout the Yatra. We never had any travel movement problem. Throughout the twelve day Yatra, the yatris were provided with good accommodation in good hotels. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided with perfect punctuality. A good quality and hygienic food was served. Food was never a problem.
One extraordinary credit must be given to the Yatra Director regarding the health emergencies of senior citizens. Few had health problems, minor injuries which were attended by Agrani Krishna Dasa with a lightning speed and great care. Due to this yatris were able continue the Yatra without a break.
On the whole the Yatra has been a great success and immense satisfaction to all yatris. I must thank Sri Agrani Krishna Dasa, the Yatra Director of Tirtha Yatra for having provided us a fantastic spiritual treat in the form of Char Dham Yatra. I will always love to go on such yatras with Tirtha Yatra and also will advise all to opt Tirtha Yatra for all your travel needs to the holy places.
Jai Badri Vishal!
