ISKCON Bengaluru collaborates with Tirtha Yatra

Aug 09: ISKCON Bengaluru, HBR Layout, Bengaluru collaborates with Tirtha Yatra for conducting their pilgrimage packages – ISKCON Yatras.

ISKCON Bengaluru, HBR Layout is a prominent ISKCON Temple in Southern part of Bengaluru. It is a beacon of Krishna consciousness, preaching the message of Lord Chaitanya and Srila Prabhupada to people in general. It has been conducting pilgrimages for the spiritual advancement of devotees and its well wishers.

ISKCON Bengaluru has now collaborated with Tirtha Yatra to conduct its ISKCON Yatras. The purpose of ISKCON Yatras is to revive the traditional aspects of a pilgrimage such as hari katha, hari smarana, hari bhajana, seva, prasadam, archana and dana. A pilgrimage is to constantly remember the holy name of Lord Krishna and associate with devotees.

Through these pilgrimage tours, ISKCON Bengaluru in collaboration with Tirtha Yatra shall bring back the age long tradition of a pilgrimage as enjoined in the shastras such as Bhagavata Purana, Padma Purana, Ramayana and Mahabharata. With its fame as being the pilgrimage leader in the country, Tirtha Yatra shall ensure that quality pilgrimages are offered to the devotees. Through its technical expertise, Tirtha Yatra shall take care of end-to-end necessity and comfort of the pilgrims during the Yatras.

In the last meeting, Sri Varada Krishna Dasa Adhikary, the president of ISKCON Bengaluru, Sri Ramakrishnan, the finance secretary of ISKCON Bengaluru, Sri Anand Santhanam, the Business Consultant of Tirtha Yatra, Sri Panduranga Dasa, the Co-founder and CEO of Tirtha Yatra and Sri Agrani Krishna Dasa, Founder-Managing Director of Tirtha Yatra were present.

These pilgrimage tours shall be centered around a themes like Ramayana Circuit, Krishna Circuit and Narasimha Safari which will give chance for the people to get connected to God.

PS: Tirtha Yatra is a legal entity independent of ISKCON. It shall continue to function as it is functioning now. ISKCON Yatras is  just another adventure in its cap.
