Pancha Lingas of Kashi are the most prominent temples in Kashi glorified in many scriptures. Unfortunately, these temples are not very famous amidst the devotees who are living in Kashi, forget about those who are visiting Kashi from outside. Generally, devotees visit Kashi and have darshan in the prominently known temples and leave without even realizing its greatness and its deep connection with spirituality.

Sri Krittivaseshwar Linga
This is the largest shiva-linga amongst Pancha Lingas of Kashi and situated on the banks of the famed Hamsa Tirtha (tirtha is no more). This is the swayambhu linga created by Lord Shiva after killing the son of Gajasura. This is one of the finest shiva-lingas in Kashi. The original temple was razed down by Aurangzeb. Sri Madhyameshwara Linga
Kashi acquires different shapes in different yugas. When Kashi was in the shape of chakra i.e, circular, the Madhyameshwara Linga was right in the center. It was the kendra bindu of Kashi. Even today devotees rever this linga as the pivot of Kashi and offer their utmost respects to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is constantly residing in this place along with Mother Parvati. Sri Omkareshwara Linga
If you wish to have darshan of the physical form of Om, you must head sraight to Sri Omkareshwara Linga in Kashi which is one of the Pancha Lingas of Kashi. It is situated on the banks of Matsyodari Tirtha (tirtha not visible anymore). Here Lord Shiva gave darshan to Lord Brahma in the Panchayatana Swarupa. Sri Kapardeeshwara Linga
This is one of the most neglected Pancha Lingas of Kashi. The temple is situated on the banks of Papamochana Kunda which is one of the largest Kundas of Kashi. Here sage Valmiki rid a pishacha of its yoni and helped him achieve shiva-loka. This shiva-linga is famous for relieving anyone from the Pishacha yoni or type of the body.
